My name is Christy Killips and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at Synergos for the past 2 years. I received my Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Boston College and Master's degrees in Nutrition from Columbia University in New York. Since completing my internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, I have devoted my career to helping patients of all ages and this has led to a passion for addressing nutrition issues across the lifespan. I have extensive experience in pediatric nutrition support as well as malnutrition, eating disorders/disordered eating, picky eating, irritable bowel disorder (IBD), other GI conditions, nutrition during and after cancer treatment, and prediabetes/diabetes. After spending time in the home health setting, I understand that the issues that keep us from reaching nutrition goals are often more complicated than they first appear in a hospital or medical clinic setting. As such, I hope to help clients collaboratively work through barriers to achieve their goals. I value flexibility and understanding in my relationships with clients and my goal is to approach each session with an open mind.
I work Monday through Thursdays. Complete a client inquiry form here. Payors/Payments Accepted: Quartz, Dean Health Plan, Dean by Medica, Group Health Cooperative (GHC), UMR, The Alliance, Multiplan, Health EOS, PHCS, Aetna, Cigna, Health Partners, United Healthcare (UHC), Optum, and private pay. Please ALWAYS verify that your health plan includes dietary benefits. Some plans have many exclusions to what would be included as well. She can provide you a "superbill" to submit to your insurance for out of pocket expenses as well for out of network insurance as well. |

My name is Vincent Suha and my pronouns are he/him/his. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with minor in psychology as well as a Master of Science in Nutrition. I completed my Dietetic Internship from the University of Central Arkansas, and am very excited to return to working with Synergos Counseling!
The focus of my professional career has been integrating evidence-based nutrition with the treatment of mental health. I believe the two fields work synergistically to provide holistic healing to so many patients. Much of my career has been spent in the treatment of eating disorders. My passion lies with supporting patients in making sense of their relationship with food and their bodies. My expertise lies in the treatment of adults with mental health-related nutrition concerns, which include but are not limited to: eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, management of medication side effects, meal prep and planning for more severe mental health disorders, weight concerns, and many other areas. I also have expertise in assisting with patients with diabetes/prediabetes, ulcerative colitis (UC), Crohn’s Disease, other GI conditions, geriatric nutrition, and many other areas. Though I specialize in many areas and thoroughly enjoy working with all adults, I have a special interest in working with LGBTQIA+ patients, as well as male/masculine presenting patients who struggle with disordered eating, as these populations can often feel left out or underserved by classical eating disorder programs. I practice all of my dietetics through the lenses of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES), but take special care to individualize any care I provide to that specific client through motivational interviewing (MI) and a thoughtful, caring, and present approach. I work Wednesday evenings and every other Saturday. Complete a client inquiry form here. Payors/Payments Accepted: Quartz, Dean Health Plan, Dean by Medica, Group Health Cooperative (GHC-SCW), Cigna, Health Partners, and private pay. Please ALWAYS verify that your health plan includes dietary benefits. Some plans have many exclusions to what would be included as well. We are working to get VIncent contracted with the same insurances as those mentioned with above providers. He can provide you a "superbill" to submit to your insurance for out of pocket expenses as well for out of network insurance as well. |
