Beth Connors | Pregnancy and Birth Support
My name is Beth Connors and I am a certified nurse midwife, birth doula, and childbirth educator, partnered with Synergos Counseling. I received my masters in nursing and certified nurse midwifery degrees from Marquette University, and my B.S. in human development and family studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am currently located in Hartland, WI with my husband and two daughters, serving women both locally and virtually.
I am a passionate advocate for informed choice and bodily autonomy in women’s health. I experienced a traumatic first hospital birth where I didn’t understand at the time, the magnitude of the lack of control and how unnecessarily rushed my birth was with medical intervention. The moment I was admitted into the hospital, I gave away my autonomy, I didn't know I had choices, and I was very good at being a compliant patient. My baby and I were healthy, but I still grieved the birth I deserved. Since then, I have worked as a labor and delivery nurse, became a certified nurse midwife, and had my second daughter in an incredible, redemptive hospital water birth.
It became clear to me that pregnancy and birth could be beautiful, and women should feel empowered to trust their bodies, not viewed as a fearful, medically managed condition. I saw within the medical system a lack of continuous support, openly sharing evidence-based information, and centering women in their care. Today, I have chosen to combine my personal experience and extensive midwifery education to help women like you, have the incredible, autonomous birth experience you deserve.
I have partnered with Synergos Counseling to extend their resources toward their approach of providing comprehensive interventions to achieve overall wellness.

Testimonials
“Beth helped me advocate for myself in the final weeks of my pregnancy, supporting me in my conviction to have my labor progress naturally and decline unnecessary medical interventions. I am so grateful to her for helping me have the birth that I wanted. She is so kind, knowledgeable, and experienced, and helped rekindle hope for me when it was feeling really hard (like crying after doctors appointments hard). I sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend her – especially to anyone who is feeling pushed around by doctors.” (Jess, 5 stars on Google)
“Beth’s self paced course is much more in-depth than the online classes I took through my local hospital. While geared toward wanting a low-intervention, gentle and natural hospital birth, I would recommend to any mom, as I found it very informative and empowering. I felt much more equipped to make decisions and stand my ground during my second delivery.” (Nancy, 5 stars on Google)
“I completed the online birth course and know that this allowed me to have a wonderful, informed birth and easier postpartum recovery! I could go on forever about each module in the birth course. My partner also took the course with me and was able to advocate well for me at the hospital because of this education!” (Kimberly 5 stars on Google)
